Nanobots: Small Things Can Make A Big Impact
In the near future, you will not need to take medicines through pills and injections. Scientists have developed a series of robots called nano robots. They will have the ability to inject medications into the bloodstream in just 2 seconds. They will be made out of polymers, stranded together by silver nano wires. The size of the robot will not be more than a silk fiber. But how will it work? A nano robot will have the medication inside it. Then, using the bloodstream, it will navigate itself to the infected or injured area. Scientists will use ultrasonic devices in order to detect the robot's location in the body and guide it accordingly. Once the robot reaches the infected spot, it will deliver the medication and will go back into the bloodstream. It will then wait for further instructions from its owner. The robots will have an internal source of energy. They might use the heat in the body, or use blood plasma to produce energy as a backup. These tiny robots will be able to cure anything, from a small bruise to cancer. Pills and injections will no longer be needed and disease will be a thing of the past with these nano robots. By cutting the supply of blood to the cancerous cells, cancer will be cured. Extensive research is happening in this area and sky is the limit. The only thing we do know at this point in time is that these tiny robots will have a significant impact on the well being of human beings and will aid in eradicating disease on the planet.
